Visa application for exhibitors at German exhibitions
According to the Employment Ordinance, the maximum stay in Germany for the purpose of setting up and dismantling stands and performing stand services cannot exceed 90 days in a year. The following documents are required for a Schengen visa for short-term exhibition viewing/exhibition/set-up:
1. Travel passport and family register
Original passport, one copy of the passport with identification information pages and copies of all non-blank family pages of the family register
2. Application form
Complete the online Schengen visa application form, print it in full and sign it in your own handwriting.

3. Two white background ID photos within 6 months

4. €80 visa fee
5. Travel medical insurance
Original travel medical insurance certificate for the entire Schengen area and covering the entire period of stay requested. The insurance should cover outpatient, hospitalisation and repatriation expenses due to sickness or death and should not be less than €30,000.
7. Applicant’s bank account statement
The original statement of the applicant’s salary account or other usual account for the last 3 months issued and stamped by the bank.
8. Proof of employment and company business licence
Original certificate of employment issued by your workplace or own business, and a copy of your business licence with official seal. For Chinese companies, the certificate of incumbency should be in Chinese, accompanied by a German or English translation; for foreign companies, the certificate should be in German or English.
9. Exhibition related materials
Exhibitor’s card and confirmation of booth space issued by the show organiser or proof of remittance of booth fees paid to the show organiser. Exhibitors are exempted from visa fees if they can submit the applicant’s own exhibitor card.
